Selam Tesfai

Pro Bono Coordinator

Selam Tesfai is the Pro Bono Coordinator of the Immigration Justice Campaign at the American Immigration Council. She works with the Justice Campaign team to recruit volunteers and collaborates closely with our pilot sites to assist with the promotion of pro bono opportunities and the placement of cases with volunteers. Previously, Selam was the Senior Legal Services Coordinator for Human Rights First in the Washington, D.C. office.  Selam also worked as a Faculty Advisor at Envision EMI and a Legal Assistant at Alan Dobson & Associates, PLLC. Selam received her Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from the University of Asmara in Eritrea and her Master’s degree in African Studies from Ohio University. She also has an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. She also has an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies.
