Janet Parker

Janet Parker is the Managing Director of Operations at the American Immigration Council. She works in collaboration with the Executive Director, and executive team to ensure that the Council’s operations advance the Council’s strategic direction. This includes leading the Council’s efforts and planning for infrastructure support, goal setting and accountability measures. Janet works with the executive team in formalizing and implementing the strategic vision and planning of the Council and helping to measure progress against organizational goals.

Prior to joining the American Immigration Council Janet was the Director of Human Resources at the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Most of her career has been spent at large consumer organizations such as Time Warner Cable, Nextel Communications and Starbucks where she held senior Human Resources roles supporting corporate functions such as sales, marketing, engineering, legal, and operations. Janet has a B.A. in Marketing from Drexel University and a MBA with a concentration in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University.
