Andrea Rathbone Ramos

Andrea is a DACA recipient, a supporter of immigrants with vulnerable legal status, and the Digital Communications Specialist for the American Immigration Council. In this role, Andrea will elevate and advance awareness of the Council’s mission and brand across all digital channels. Over the past five years, Andrea has led national communications and advocacy efforts on immigration reform by highlighting the socioeconomic advantages of immigration. In 2018, Andrea graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a bachelor's degree in public administration. Since then, she has worked for the American Business Immigration Coalition, the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Texas House of Representatives, the environmental group Commission Shift, and obtained her MPA at the NYU Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
